About Me

Hi, I'm Bradley, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I earned my Master of Education in counseling from the University of Houston in 2023. After graduating, I worked at a large group practice in Katy, Texas, before opening Chromatic Life Counseling this year.

My professional background is unique. Before becoming a counselor, I spent more than ten years in the theater and music industries. That experience taught me the importance of curiosity, storytelling, and authentic self-expression—principles that are at the heart of my practice today.

I work with individual clients aged 12 and up. My areas of focus include teens, young adults, the LGBTQIA+ community, and people seeking to heal from traumatic experiences. I also offer family therapy to support the specific needs of these clients.

My primary approach is Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), which aims for deep, fundamental healing rather than just managing symptoms. For more immediate challenges, I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my practice to help clients manage intense emotions and day-to-day symptoms.

When I'm not in the office, I'm usually at home with my partners and our many pets. I enjoy writing music, playing games, or watching reality shows and documentaries. I also love to travel, especially to new cities where I can explore and immerse myself in a different culture.

I know firsthand the power of counseling. Before I ever considered it as a career, I was a client myself. Therapy helped me heal from past experiences, relational challenges, and the negative self-talk that was holding me back. My own journey showed me the need for more passionate, affirming clinicians who treat the whole person—not just the symptoms.
